On this week's episode of Rescue Me...

Tommy learns that a news crew is creating a one-hour TV special about the 10th anniversary of 9/11. His cousin, Jimmy Keefe, will be featured.

Upset that he can't keep Jimmy out of it, he is also forced to deal with the overly emotional women in his apartment during the menstrual cycle.

While on an errand run for the women, Tommy runs into Kelly McPhee. He finds out she has cancer and the two discuss the importance of legacy.

Meanwhile, Lou fakes his physical by having other members of the crew pretend to be him. He passes.

Colleen proposes to Shawn. After deliberation, he decides to say "yes," even without Tommy's approval.

Finally, after weeks of no fire, the crew gets a call and rush to help out.
