On the premiere of Ringer...

- Bridget Kelly a newly sober exotic dancer is about to testify as the sole witness in a murder trial. Fearing for her safety she ditches her FBI handlers and sneaks off to reconnect with her twin sister Siobhan.

- Siobhan takes Bridget out on her boat. When Bridget wakes up, Siobhan has disappeared but left her wedding ring behind. Siobhan thinks she committed suicide.

- No one in Siobhan's life knows she has a twin. Seizing the moment, Bridget decides to become Siobhan. In a moment of weakness she calls her sponsor and friend Malcolm and tells him what she's done.

- Bridget quickly realizes that Siobhan's life isn't the fairy tale she thought. Siobhan and husband Andrew are barely speaking, stepdaughter Juliette is kicked out of boarding school for drugs, and Siobhan is having an affair with Henry, her best friend Gemma's husband.

- Bridget finds out Siobhan was pregnant and doesn't know which one could be the father.

- When Bridget is attacked she thinks it is the criminals after her. When she shoots her attacker, she finds a picture of Siobhan in his pocket.

- In an undisclosed location, Siobhan sits looking pleased with herself.
