Natasha, a young musician is stabbed to death and the restroom of a bar on open mic night. Turns out her parents thought she was in rehab.

Natasha's roommate stole her songs and was afraid a record producer would figure it out so she killed Natasha to keep her secret.

Jane's father comes home to less than a warm welcome to tell the family he has prostate cancer. He gets drunk and insults his sons over a family dinner and almost comes to blows with Cavanagh because he's dating Angela.

The cancer is treatable and the prognosis is good. Angela and Jane both accept his apology but tell him he should go back to his life in Florida.
