Jane finally has dinner with Maura and Jack. Things go so well that Jack sends Jane a special autographed baseball as a gift. 

Sydney Allen is killed by a hitman outside of a nightclub. Later that night her husband is killed in his hotel room. Turns out the husband hired the hitman to kill his wife but when a witness sees him, he decided to kill the husband to cover his tracks but he can't find the witness. 

Tasha, a homeless high school girl is the witness and Jane finds her in an abandoned building but the hitman shoots Tasha and hits Jane in her vest. The two hide in an elevator as they call for help. 

New crime scene tech Nina Holiday helps Frankie and Korsak track them down. They save Jane but not before the hitman hits her with a pipe.  Jane and Tasha are both taken to the hospital.
