-Paul Lanford is shot and killed during a bank robbery. Later, John Polk is found shot and killed in the getaway van.

-Tommy Rizzoli's finger prints are found in the same van. The FBI tells Maura that Tommy is a suspect but threatens her with prison time if she shares the information with Jane.

-When Tommy is arrested and finds out Maura knew, she feels betrayed by her best friend.

-Tommy swears he simply borrowed his friend's van to move and didn't commit the crime. Jane, Korsak, and Frost investigate.

-Paul Lanford's brother and his friend robbed the bank because they lost their homes. Then killed Paul and John to cover it up. When they try to rob another bank, Jane arrests Lanford and his accomplice is killed by a sniper before he can kill Jane.

-Jane and Maura begin to make up over bad wine that Tommy gave to Maura because he was embarrassed he tried to kiss her.
