Rizzoli & Isles Season 7 Episode 11 revolves around a series of murders related to the Mason funeral home. When the pallbearers drop the coffin of their unpleasant grandmother, they find that there's another body inside along with the grandmother's.

The investigation leads them to the discovery that the dead man is Sam Mason, the director of the funeral home that took care of the grandmother's burial. He was stabbed with an object that may or may not be one of the instruments he worked with. Soon, the detectives discover other similar murders, all of which were buried in caskets with clients of the Mason funeral home.

Mason's sister soon comes under suspicion, but she has an alibi and anyway she is left-handed. The detectives' investigation then leads them to a connection between the murder victims.

Meanwhile, Maura desperately searches for a cure for a terminally ill baby at her mother's clinic and finds dealing with a dying patient a lot harder than dealing with those who are already dead, especially when the baby's religious family wants to pray for the child. And Tommy and TJ return home while everyone is grieving for Jane's planned move to DC and out of their daily lives.
