Paige’s mom Ellen suffers a bout of severe depression which prompts Paige to call Hank for help. Evan eventually finds out about Hank and Paige’s deceit, causing a rift in his relationship with them both. The rift is mended when Evan and Paige finally communicate. Reconciliation between Hank and Evan takes more work, but, as always, they work it out.
Hank treats the babysitter of a film superhero’s son. She finds out she has a heart condition prompted by testing a nebulizer on behalf of her charge, Simon, who fears the unknown until someone else tries it.
Divya navigates her relationship—or lack thereof—with Van Dyke when they go on their first outing together. Both are long out of practice in relationships.
