As news of Olivia Pope as the President's mistress spreads, her father, Rowan Pope, whisks her away to an airport and urges her to leave her life behind. She refuses and returns to her office to face the crisis head on.

She, Mellie, and Fitz plan to speak honestly about the affair, but Mellie passes information to the team which provides an alternate theory. Mellie knows the identity of the person who leaked Olivia's name to the press.

Charlie returns and takes Cyrus to a private meeting with Rowan.
