Meanwhile, Gideon and David conduct separate investigations into the death of Amanda Tanner. Gideon arrives at the conclusion that the Vice President's Chief of Staff, Billy Chambers, was Amanda's lover. When Gideon confronts Billy with this information, Billy attacks Gideon.
