Scrubs Spoilers: "My Soul On Fire"

Tonight's episode of Scrubs is the first part of the two part wedding of the Janitor entitled "My Soul on Fire."  In this eagerly anticipated episode teased about before the season began, the Janitor and Lady send out invitations to their fake wedding in the Bahamas in order to score free gifts.

When J.D. leads the group to accept the invitation, despite the fact the wedding only three days away, the Janitor and Lady have no choice but to go on with it!

J.D. and Turk Arrive

Korbi TV was lucky enough to be on the set when they filmed the scenes months and months ago, and has a little insight into tonight's episode.  The crew does not arrive in the Bahamas until twenty minutes into the episode.

Before that, fans of J.D. and Elliot will be happy to know there's a scene of the two of them in bed where they lay down the framework to have little J.D.'s and Elliots.  As far as the rest of the epiosde, there's going to be iconic 70s television characters, Jordan rapping, and the Todd's backstory.

Scrubs Interns: "Meeting with Turk and the Todd"

If you didn't get enough of Turk and the Todd on last night's episode of Scrubs, "My Full Moon," these two lovable surgeons make an appearance in the latest Scrubs Interns webisode.

During this ninth installment of the series, Turk and the Todd try to talk to the interns about surgery versus medicine with, of course, hilarious results.  Enjoy:

Scrubs Recap: "My Full Moon"

As we already knew, due to ABC budget constraints, there would be missing characters from each episode of Scrubs this season.  What we didn't expect, was last night's episode, "My Full Moon."

The episode only featured two main characters: Turk and Elliot.  Three if you count the Todd, but we rarely do.  So how did the episode fair without J.D., Cox, or even the Janitor?

Turk and Elliot Alone

The episode was definitely a little disappointing, but Donald Faison and Sarah Chalke proved that they could hold their own.  Elliot went through some major character development this episode as she revealed whether she wanted to be a Doctor for life or not.

The Interns themselves were also all in the episode and some of them are even slowly developing into useful characters themselves.  Find out what happened to everyone in our short "My Full Moon" recap.

Here are some of our favorite Scrubs quotes from Elliot, Turk and the Interns:

Denise [to Derek]: Aww that's adorable, you have a crush on yourself. I'd be careful, the guy you're in love with is a douche
| permalink
Elliot: When I was little, my mom told me my farts were little demons crawling around in my belly and if I let one out it'd give my grandmother cancer | permalink
Elliot: I'm a doctor. We believe everything we see on the charts. That's why I write "Elliot has a killer tushie" on every one
| permalink

Scrubs Recap: "Their Story II"

On last night's Scrubs, we finally got to get into the heads of some of the other characters besides J.D.'s.  While that might not sound like a good thing, it was actually a good idea if they're still planning a season nine with less Zach Braff.

So how was the episode besides just as a test bed?  It was actually pretty gosh darn good.  The episode had three great plotlines going: J.D. getting his ego put in check, Sunny going up against the Janitor, and Denise pushing Elliot into doing something she didn't want to.

Find out what happened to each of our characters in our "Their Story II" recap and enjoy our favorite Scrubs quotes from the episode:

Janitor: You know you shouldn't throw produce, it's dangerous, I had a cousin that was killed by a head of lettuce. True story. Well not the head of lettuce itself so much as the pack of sewer rabbits he stole it from | permalink
Turk: You can try and emphasize instead of giving Derek here the googly eyes... Carla! [snaps his fingers]
Carla: Give her a break, he's like a male Halle Berry | permalink

Scrubs Interns: Episode 7 and 8

In anticipation of J.D. finally getting some respect from Dr. Cox on tonight's episode of Scrubs, "Their Story II," we decided to post the next two episodes of Scrubs interns.

In the first episode, we see outtake clips from Ted and the Janitor's show, Legal Custodians that they introduces in the previous installment of Scrubs Interns.

ABC Wants Scrubs Season Nine

We have some good news for Scrubs fans that have been holding out for another season of the hilarious sitcom.

Despite losing Donald Faison and John C. McGinley to new ABC pilots, the network still wants to do a season nine.

According to Korbi TV, ABC president Steve McPherson informed Bill Lawrence that they would do a season nine if Zach Braff would do a handful of episodes.

Despite its low ratings, Scrubs has been bringing a young, male demographic that the network normally does not attract.

The show's future is on your shoulders.

Scrubs Recap: "My Nah Nah Nah"

On ast night's Scrubs, Turk proved to Carla he could actually learn something useful from watching SportsCenter!  Turk tried out an experimental procedure on his patient who might never be able to walk again after a car accident.

Meanwhile, Perry and Jordan were having problems when Perry decided to put on his old wedding ring and Jordan surprisingly was angry.  The Janitor was having his own problems with Lady when she wouldn't hold his hand.

Find out how problems were solved in our "My Nah Nah Nah" recap.  But more importantly, check out the quotes from the episode:

J.D.: I am not a girl! What's this show, is it new?
Turk: It's SportsCenter, dude | permalink
Janitor: I never want to have kids, I just want to adopt a short old guy | permalink
J.D. [about Turk]: You know if I was married to him I'd be a lot more supportive
Carla: You know you said that out loud, right?
J.D.: I'm not ashamed of who I am! | permalink

ABC Sets Scrubs Finale Date

ABC has announced the air date of the finale of the season, and most likely the series, Scrubs.  The episode, entitled "My Finale," airs on Tuesday, May 6th and will be an hour long according to Zap2it.

Series creator, Bill Lawrence said the finale will deal with J.D. deciding to leave Sacred Heart to work as a hospital closer to his son.

When ABC picked up the show, there was talk of the series going on for a ninth season even though creator Bill Lawrence and star Zach Braff said this would be their last.  However, with ratings average around 5.1 million, "My Finale" is most likely the series inale.

Scrubs Spoilers: Turk's Protege

Korbi TV had previously promised us we'd be meeting Turk's protege, played by Lee Thompson Young, during this season of Scrubs.  Now that we're more than halfway through season eight, readers wrote in to her latest column asking Korbi what's the deal?

Don't worry.  Korbi promises us that Lee Thompson Young will definitely appear later this season and he and Turk will put out some fine scenes together.

Good, with Zach Braff and creator Bill Lawrence leaving the show after this season, we're going to need all the talent we can get if there's going to be a seasn nine of Scrubs!

Missing Characters on Scrubs Season Eight

As most Scrubs fans have probably noticed, each episode of Scrubs this season has been missing at least one of its major cast members.  It turns out, this hasn't been mere coincidence!

According to Ausiello Files, Scrubs creator, Bill Lawrence, had to trim the budget in order to make a season eight financially feasible for ABC.  One of those concessions included giving each cast member two episodes off!

I guess that really explains why J.D. (Zach Braff) was missing in "My Abscence."  Thank you Bill for doing whatever it takes to get us this amazing season eight we've been loving!

Cox: About as ridiculous as your five o'clock shadow. There's times I'm doing rounds and I feel like I'm teaching Yasser Arafat.
Denise: Really? I see a slightly gayer George Michael.
Cox: Oh, I so see that.
Drew: Could you please be more alike?
