John Cho is back on Sleepy Hollow this week.

Abbie and Ichabod prepare to do battle with the Horseman.

Jenny is getting out of the institution in one day, and moving in with Abbie.

Morales wants to get together with Abbie.

Brooks tells Morales he's dead, and to stay away from Abbie, that he's the only one who can protect her.

Brooks tells Morales the end is coming and he'll have to pick a side, and that there are others like him in Sleepy Hollow.

Ichabod tells Abbie he will rectify her inability to join a masons meeting upon his arrival and to meet him there to strategize about the Horseman's return.

All of the masons are dead when Ichabod arrives at the meeting place and the Headless Horseman is outside.

Capt. Irving does what he can to work with Abbie to keep the facts about the Horseman hidden while still letting her investigate.

The Horseman thought the masons were holding his skull, because when he retrieves it he will hasten the end of days and the remaining three Horseman will rise.

The Horseman follows Irving to the lab where he went to retrieve the skull.

Irving finally sees the Headless Horseman for himself, is absolutely stunned and unsure of what to do next.

Abbie and Ichabod try various methods to destroy the skull, but it can't be done.

Ichabod realizes that Paul Revere was most likely riding from death itself and realizes they weren't only fighting the British, but a great evil and they need a manuscript to discover the rest of the story.

The manuscript is on loan to a museum in London, but it has been uploaded to the Internet and Abbie helps Ichabod conquer the computer to decipher it.

Abbie runs into Andy and he tells her that they can't kill death, but they can trap him. That's the only way they can defeat him. 

Irving helps Abbie and Ichabod make fake skulls to try to trap the Horseman and they get to talking about slavery and Sally Hemings. Ichabod is taken aback that Thomas Jefferson might have cheated on his wife.

Abbie and Ichabod get the Horseman into the cave, shower him in artificial light and shackle him.
