As they attempt to escape, Katrina recognizes the Hellfire club members that accompanied Henry before. Abbie follows them to a secluded lab and manages to steal a journal belonging to the club. It isn't long before Ichabod and Abbie learn Katrina is pregnant. A meeting with his son, Henry, confirms she is not only pregnant but Katrina is carrying Moloch himself. Ichabod remembers Franklin had been researching the aurora borealis and learns the phenomena can stop Moloch. Franklin had hidden a prism that simulates the effect of the aurora borealis in the tablet belonging to the Hellfire club. Our heroes return to the lab and take possession of the tablet. They arrive just in time to use the prism to stop Moloch from crossing into our world. Though it appears to be a happy ending, Henry collects Moloch's essence in a jar. This is far from over.
