While Ichabod is sidelined with a cold, Sheriff Reyes assigns Abbie a case involving a suicide at Tarrytown Psych. Since her sister, Jenny, is intimately familiar with Tarrytown Abbie brings her along to help work the case. The first person they visit upon arriving at Tarrytown is Irving, who assures them though his soul belongs to the Horseman of War he's still in control of his actions. It isn't long before video surveillance reveals Abbie and Jenny's mother's ghost was present at the most recent suicide. Due to Crane's illness, Abbie calls Hawley for assistance. Naturally Ichabod is annoyed by this and roll his eyes when Nick appears. Before Nick's Matzoh ball soup knocks Ichabod out we learn that Tarrytown was built in a specific area between us and the spirit world. They assume Moloch conjured Mama Mills to pray on their resolve. Elsewhere, Katrina is manipulated by Henry into caring for baby Moloch. The demon's touch quickly infects Katrina. Back at Tarrytown Abbie, Jenny and Hawley manage to stop a patient from killing himself. Abbie is transported to an abandoned section of the hospital. Nurse Lambert appears and questions Abbie. Jenny soon meets up with her sister and Mama's spirit leads them to an old video recording. Through this recording the sister's learn nurse Lambert was a killer back in the 1950's. She had been caught at Tarrytown and sentenced to the electric chair. The sisters return to the abandoned hospital wing for clues, as this is also where Mama Mills' cell was located. They uncover a drawing of themselves and their mother's spirit appears to them. Lori Mills informs her girls that Grace Dixon's journal holds the secret for sending this "angel of death" back where she belongs. While Jenny performs the incantation, Mama Mills and the evil nurse fight. Nurse Lambert is ultimately defeated but Lori Mills' spirit vanishes as well. Reunited with Ichabod, the group summons Mama Mills one last time. The sisters finally understand their mother fought until the very end to protect her girls. Moloch had sent the nurse to finish her off. Irving escapes Tarrytown and is picked up by our Scooby gang. Katrina worked on a spell to destroy baby Moloch. However, he's not a baby anymore. The fiend is growing at an alarmingly rate. Could Katrina inadvertently be responsible for nourishing him?
