Recap
-Danelle, a CI who was relocated to Lancaster after testifying comes back and tracks down Lydia. The gang she testified against found her once she hit town and wants her dead. Lydia tries to get her relocated…again.
-Lydia and her new partner, Dorian put her up in a motel but Danelle goes out to score drugs and gets caught up in a raid where she gives Lydia's name. Lydia's furious and gives her bus fare to head back Lancaster.
-Later, Danelle's body is found at the beach.
-Sammy and his ex co-parent their six month old son, Nate.-
John Cooper returns after back surgery and is partnered with Officer Jessica Tang who is known for a video of her getting badly beaten by a huge man during a traffic stop.
-Sammy, Ben, and Dewey chase an armed suspect into a school where he eventually shoots himself. Ben and Officer Dan Ferguson, who is jaded and cynical argue over procedure and nearly come to blows.
-A gunman walks into the precinct and opens fire. Danny is shot but will survive.
