On Switched at Birth Season 4 Episode 2, Bay tells Tess she was the one who got Robbie in trouble by giving him a sandwich which had heroin in it. Tess starts giving Bay a hard time and when Bay runs into Tank he gives her some advice to deal with Tess. He tells her she needs to stand up for herself and tell Tess to back off. When Bay is waiting for a call from Emmett, Tess takes her phone and smashes it on the floor which finally sets Bay off and she tells Tess to back off. 

Meanwhile, Daphne starts her pre-med class with Professor Marillo and has Josh interpret for her. At the start of class Daphne finds out Josh did not leave Marillo's class on the best of terms and he actually verbally attacked his teacher which causes Daphne to re-think her choice of interpreter. Things go from bad to worse when Daphne joins a study group and they aren't willing to slow down for her and they kick her out of the group. Josh goes off on the students and Daphne decides she needs to fire Josh. Josh goes to Daphne and tells her that for most of his life he was his parent's voice and now he has to get used to just being an interpreter for Daphne and nothing else. Daphne understand and he gives he the advanced notes for the class and this makes her old study group want to take her back.
