When you watch Switched at Birth Season 4 Episode 3 you will get the inside look at how college is for new students. When the deaf kids are being pranked, first by a stink bomb and than by having one of their bathrooms destroyed, Daphne vows to do something about it. Thankfully Travis set up a camera and is able to figure out who the person playing the pranks is, a guy who goes by the name Mingo. Turns out he isn't targeting the deaf kids, but is playing the pranks because they are new students and it is tradition. When Daphne threatens to go to the dean with the information he suggest they take part in a dorm triathlon and the winner gets the bathroom on his floor and the loser has to go to the bathroom in the other building. The first game is played dirty by Mingo who inlists the lacrosse team as his team membmers. So naturally the next game, which has to do with pitching, Daphne calls on John for his help and he is ready and willing. The last game has to do with a mud run and thanks to Iris, who has felt left out and has expressed her insecurities to Daphne, they win the game because she used to play it at camp every year.
