Miller is telling a ghost story to Harper and his boyfriend about a masked man. When Miller goes outside, there's a sound that alarms Harper, so she goes to investigate. Someone in a mask appears behind her and takes her. 

Clarke and her group return to Arkadia and it's a ghost town. No one is there, so they split up to check the resources and prepare for their next move, but things take a turn for the worse when Jasper is attacked and Octavia is kidnapped by the "demon."

When Clarke is investigating Arkadia, the demon throws a smoke bomb at her and she narrowly escapes. She alerts Bellamy that it's Emerson. The two of them try to find him, but Emerson makes it clear that Clarke's to go alone, or her friends are dying. 

She takes Bellamy, who hides in the shadows, but she's shocked when Emerson knows her plan straight away. He puts Bellamy with the others in the air lock and tells Clarke that she will watch her people perish, just like she did to his people. 

Clarke puts her hand in her pocket and brings out the AI and it kills Emerson. Clarke manages to save her people. 

In Polis, Murphy bumps into Emori, but Ontari butts in and Murphy lies that he doesn't know her. 

Later, Emori meets Murphy and the two of them sleep together. When Murphy goes to see Ontari, Jaha appears and tells Ontari that Murphy opened up about her secret. As Emori walks in, Murphy realizes she's been chipped and that he's in trouble. 

Alie takes over as the role of the commander.
