Bernadette is named one of the sexiest scientists by a magazine. She's excited about the honor, but Amy feels it's inappropriate for a woman to use her sexuality to promote herself. Bernadette is disappointed when the magazine pulls the feature, but not too upset about it. That's until she finds out that it was Amy who complained to the magazine and got the magazine to reconsider.

Bernadette accused Amy of being jealous and upset that no one wants her to flaunt her sexuality. Amy storms out of the bar without listening to Bernadette's apology.

Sheldon runs into a doctor with roses at the apartment. They walk upstairs together and the doctor says he's showing up to see a woman as a surprise. She flirted with him at work and he wants to date her. When they get upstairs, the doctor walks to Penny's door. She flirted with him and he's interested in her. 

Sheldon tells Leonard about the guy. Leonard talks to him and tells the doctor that Penny's engaged to him. As the doctor is leaving, Sheldon insists that he comes in for a hot drink since he's upset. The guys talk to the doctor and find out he's treated many celebrities and has received gifts.

Penny walks in Sheldon and Leonard's apartment and is surprised to find the doctor there. She apologizes to him. Leonard talks to Penny in the hall. He's upset she's pretending to not be engaged and flirting at work. As they finish the conversation, the doctor takes the guys to his place in order to see all his toys.

At the doctor's place, the guys play the games. The doctor asks Sheldon if Penny and Leonard are in a strong relationship. Sheldon mentions the pool about how long they will last. The doctor leaves and gets more flowers to give to Penny. When he arrives at the apartment building he meets Amy. She puts her hand on his back and he gives Amy the flowers. Penny and Amy talk to the doctor.

Leonard calls Penny and warns her they are locked in the doctor's basement. Penny gets upset. She takes the doctor home with Amy to get the guys free. When they arrive in the basement, the guys are enthusiastically playing a game and don't want to be interrupted.
