Part I: Thorne (Winsor Harmon) wonders aloud to Katie how his father could forget about all his years of marriage to Stephanie and be with Donna (Jennifer Gareis). When she tries to avoid responding, he senses something and forces her to admit that Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) was raped by the man Stephanie sent to her. Though Katie states that she doubts that Stephanie (Susan Flannery) was directly responsible, Thorne changes his tune and regrets all that has happened to Brooke.

Part II: He offers his help to Katie and her family and she thanks him for his thoughtfulness. Uncomfortable with how serious it's getting, Thorne lightens up the moment and Katie responds by suggesting they talk about the Dodgers. When he calls her "sweet," the two flirt with each other. Ignoring Brooke's screaming and pleas to get out, Stephanie enters her house and insists she had no idea that she would be hurt.

Part III: Brooke points out that she told him where to get the key to her house and claims that Andy would not have raped her if it wasn't for Stephanie. Admitting she's at fault, Stephanie asks her to describe what happened and surprisingly, Brooke does so and when she's done, Stephanie tries to comfort her, telling her over and over that no woman deserves what happened to her. At work Eric (John McCook) and Ridge (Ronn Moss) tell themselves that it's important that Stephanie not go over to Brooke's place.

Eric regrets telling Stephanie she needed to apologize to Brooke.
