Today on The Bold and the Beautiful ...

As Storm presses Ashley to confirm that Ridge told her he shot Stephanie, he claims he wanted to tell her. Confirming that she's frightened, Ashley asks Storm to leave. Instead, he grabs her by the arms and confesses that he's falling in love with her.

Ashley again asks him to go. She eventually agrees to listen to his story but when he pulls out a handgun from behind his back, she cowers in fear. Meeting with Thorne, Felicia and Ridge, Stephanie tells them she's not going to do anything to try to stop Eric and Donna's wedding.

She then announces that she's stepping back from any public role in the company and adds that she thinks Eric should have his wedding at the house. As Eric arrives, Felicia and Thorne insist they won't be at the wedding but Stephanie points out that she was afraid this would happen.

She asks them again to support their father and when Eric interrupts, he admtis he doesn't know if he can believe her. Stephanie explains that she's willing to sell her half of the house to Eric. Alone with him, Stephanie asks Eric to continue the family traditions during the holidays.

Katie tells Nick that she thinks Ashley would be lucky to have a guy like Storm in her life but Nick points out he overheard Storm blaming Ridge for turning Ashley against him. When he asks what Storm will do should Ashley dump him, Katie runs to see Ashley.

Storm tells Ashley that he wanted her to see the gun to show her that he's not a violent man. As he boasts that there is nothing he wouldn't do for his sisters, Katie arrives and demands that he give her the gun. She grabs for it but he won't let go. As they argue, the gun goes off and Katie is shot.
