Today on The Bold and the Beautiful ...

Upstairs in the bedroom, Stephanie gives Katie some encouraging words and promises that she will see her tomorrow. Assured that his surprise is on the way, Nick tells Brooke, Donna and Bridget that Katie wants to stop taking her medication so that she can die on her terms.

The three women are relieved to hear he convinced her to take her pills but Nick asks them to allow her to die with dignity by allowing her to stay in the house with family around her.

Nick then explains that he's ordered a special dress designed by Ridge and Eric so that Katie can finally have her perfect prom night.

When Jackie arrives with the dress, Nick explains that some decorators will be here shortly to transform the living room into the prom. While the women go upstairs to get Katie ready, Stephanie comes downstairs and guesses that Nick has feelings for Katie.

She reminds him that Bridget's in love with Nick and asks how he can remain loyal to Bridget. When Katie comes downstairs, she's amazed by the decorations and confirms to Nick that it does look like the senior prom she never had.
