Recap

• Ridge explains to Brooke and a shocked Ashley that the ring was meant for Ashley (Eileen Davidson). Ashley leaves so Ridge and Brooke can talk.
• Brooke begs Ridge not to marry Ashley but is unsuccessful and is forced to give back the ring.
• Brooke leaves, Ashley returns and Ridge asks her to be his wife and puts the ring on her finger.
• Thorne and Katie discuss bringing the two families together, talking about all that has gone on over the years. Eric and Donna kiss before he breaks it off, telling her to leave.
• They both struggle internally as she leaves. When Eric gets into bed that night he discovers Donna (Jennifer Gareis) waiting there for him.
