Simply put, The Closer is the most popular show in the history of cable television.

Kyra Sedgwick stars in it as Deputy Police Chief Brenda Johnson. She's a former Atlanta detective brought to Los Angeles to lead a unique LAPD homicide unit. Johnson is a great investigator with unparalleled interrogation skills.

Personally, though, Brenda is still a work in progress. Her work often takes priority in life, which helped to derail her wedding in the season-four finale.
