On this episode of The Closer, Brenda reopens the case of a murdered psychiatrist because the man claiming to have committed the crime provides a statement that doesn't match the real events.
Brenda thinks there's a cover-up and sets out to discover what really happened. However, Willie Rae throws an obstacle in her path when she pops in for a visit, which actually appears to be an attempt to dump Brenda's difficult niece onto the newlyweds during for the duration of summer break.
Brenda: I see the victim parked illegally. Is that what makes this a major crime?
