We have bad news for fans of The Ghost Whisperer.

The rumors that another network might pick up this series after CBS surprisingly canceled it last week have proved to be just that: rumors. ABC has passed on it.

Executive producers Ian Sander and Kim Moses have released the following statement, officially bidding farewell to the show:

“After five wonderful seasons and over 100 episodes, we are disappointed to announce Ghost Whisperer will not be returning for a sixth season. We’ve had an incredible experience and owe a debt of gratitude to everyone involved. We continue our relationship with ABC Studios and look forward to developing many more successful projects together in the future.”

Will you miss The Ghost Whisperer? Eulogize it now.

The Ghost Whisperer Series Finale Review: "The Children's Parade"

Last night marked the season finale of The Ghost Whisperer - and by the looks of it, the series finale. Tear.

Hopefully another station will pick up our favorite spooky show! (Hint - Hint - ABC, Cmon! Please!?)

Finally the Shinies came back into play and we get what we've been waiting for! The ultimate battle between the light and the dark.

It was interesting to find out that the Shinies are a bunch of children. Children are known as being pure innocents so it would make sense that the Shinies were only made up of ghost children.

This also answered our question on why the Shadows were so interested in getting ghost children above anyone else. The Shadows were trying to build a bigger army to destroy the Shinies, but the Shinies are stronger and more powerful.

"The Children's Parade" really showed us what Aiden is made out of - Bravery. He knew that it was up to him to lead the battle against the Shadows to save his mother and he not only pulled it off, but gave a remarkable speech to get the Shinies together.

So now that the Shinies destroyed the Shadows - do you think that they will be able to gather their powers and come back again? Could this really be the end of the Shadows? We have a feeling that if another station decides to pick up this show, it won't be!

We were surprised that Bedford was no where to be seen throughout this episode. His storyline was crucial to the battle and yet when the chip fell - he was M.I.A. What gives? If this episode really is the series finale, it would have been nice to have him cross over into the light.

Overall, we were pretty impressed with this last episode and the fact that it ended happily with the family together and really no cliffhangers. What surprised us most is how non-creepy Aiden was. We even venture to say he was cute! Especially at the end when he told his mom he was brave like she is every day. Awe!

The Ghost Whisperer Review: "Dead Ringer"

With only one episode left until the season is over The Ghost Whisperer did not fail to keep us spooked and entertained!

We weren't sure who the ghost was in the beginning, but we loved how easy it was for Melinda to figure out that Kyle had an identical twin brother. Seth was clearly mad at Melinda for helping their mother go into the light, but why was he making her personal life so dreadful? The final scene where Seth is about to go into the light he tells Melinda that Bedford and "the cold things" put him up to it - but why?

"Dead Ringer" showed us that Melinda's visions and what is reality are blurring into one thing. All we know is she better get a grip on what's real before her family's life is thrown into jeopardy.

Do you remember the episode where the Ouija board ghost tells her that someone she loves will die? So far, no one has - we wonder if this means that in the season finale someone will die...what do you think?

Carl gave Melinda some useful advice on how to keep Aiden safe, but will Melinda actually go through with it and pretend that ghosts aren't real?

Wouldn't that cause even more psychological damage on Aiden? He is old enough to play chess with Carl, wouldn't he be smart enough to realize that it wasn't a hallucination and that ghosts are real? We don't believe that this will be the end of Aiden's ghost whispering abilities - do you?

There's been so much talk about the Shadows, but what about the Shining's? If it does come to a battle next week, will they be there to help Melinda?

If Bedford told Melinda to trust nothing and no one, do you really think he means herself as well? Bedford is working with the Shadows, so why should Melinda really believe anything that he says to her?

This week we are left with so many unanswered questions - what do you think will be the fate of our beloved characters?

The Ghost Whisperer Review: "Blood Money"

On this week's episode of The Ghost Whisperer, Melinda's life was actually in physical danger.

"Blood Money" showed us the perfect example of how money is the root of all evil. Henry was a very rich boy whose parents never gave him any of it because they wanted him to not just be a lazy trust fund kid, but to have goals and aspirations for himself. One would think that if you did have the kind of money that the Austin's had, this would be the perfect way to raise your child.

But, things usually never work out like you plan them and because of Henry's friend Jeff's influence, they set up his own kidnapping to get two million dollars from his parents. It was sad that Henry had to die because Jeff didn't believe he could keep this from the cops. We were wondering how, if Henry was in on his own kidnapping, why would he get to see the light? It made sense after the flashback because Henry didn't want the money, he just wanted to go home to his parents.

Moral of the story? If you are multi-million dollar wealthy make sure to always talk to your children about the evils that come with having so much money. Money changes people and in order to stay grounded, you must give to the less fortunate. That's all we got from it. What do you think the moral of this story was?

Another part that confused us was why were the three kids going to that barn anyway? It looked like the only one that didn't know about the money was Greg. The last scene with these guys was in a hospital prison. We feel the writers didn't do a good job wrapping this part of the story up.

Since we only have a couple more episodes before we say good-bye to our beloved spooky friends, it was nice that they threw us a bone and gave us Carl at the end. We really didn't understand his warning.

First he tells Melinda that the Shadows feed off of energy and if they become fearful of her, they will attack her and her family. He leaves telling her to worry less about greed and focus on fear. We don't get it. What should she be fearful of? And how will this help keep her family safe? What does greed have to do with the Shadows and Melinda?

One thing we know for certain is that Aiden will play a huge creepy role in the season finale - we can just feel it!

Ghost Whisperer Promo: "Blood Money"

There's bad news and good news for Ghost Whisperer viewers:

The bad? CBS may cancel the show after this season. The good? ABC will likely swoop in and pick it up if this does happen.

Either way, there's a good chance we'll see more of Melinda Gordon in the fall... assuming she survives "Blood Money," that is. On this Friday's episode, the show's main character is placed in major danger due to her involvement in a kidnapping case...

The Ghost Whisperer Review: "Lethal Combination"

The Ghost Whisperer didn't fail to spook us out of our mind with "Lethal Combination" last night.

First off, Aiden was as creepy as ever - his scene in the bathtub (even if it was just a vision) and when he decided to play hide and seek with Kelly had us closing our eyes! But he wasn't the only spooky kid - Gil's daughter was also kind of creepy! What is up with all the spooky kids?!

It was interesting that The Ghost Whisperer brought in polygamy into this weeks episode. We were a bit confused about the relationship between Gil, Laura, and Kelly at first - but when Kelly explained it was more of a family thing than it being romantic made sense.

They left the compound to go mainstream and live a more socially normal life, but fell back on what was comfortable. It seemed like the connection between Gil and Kelly was just a platonic connection that became stronger once Laura died.

The scene where they were choking on the poisonous gases had us on the edge of our seats! We really thought that Gil and Kelly were finito! Especially after Kelly walked out of her body and was able to speak to dead Laura. Thankfully, Melinda and Eli were there to resuscitate Kelly and bring her back!

The most heart warming scene from last night had to be when Aiden cooked dinner for his parents. He looked so adorable in his little chef hat and apron!

We were happy that this episode ended on a sweet note, but we were a little disappointed that there was not even a mention of the Book of Shadows or Bedford! We know that the season is dwindling down so the next couple of episode have to be more jam packed with the good stuff!

All in all this episode was full of the scary suspense that we love so much about the show. What did you think of last night's episode?

The Ghost Whisperer Promo: "Lethal Combination"

After three weeks off the air or showing reruns, The Ghost Whisperer returns with a new episode Friday night.

Titled "Lethal Combination," the hour focuses on Melinda's attempts to verify the claim of a ghost. This apparition says a nanny is evil and the most beautiful ghost whisperer on the planet is determined to prove or disprove such a statement.

The Ghost Whisperer Review: "Dead Eye"

We LOVED last night's episode of The Ghost Whisperer!

"Dead Eye" had everything in it that make us love this show so much! The spooky storyline mixed with romantic love, and of course, more mysterious shadow storyline!

What did you make out of Bedford's return? He is dead, but definitely not gone. And as a ghost he is even more wicked and scary! His warning to Melinda about nothing being what it seems and for her to trust nothing and no one was very troubling. Do you believe he is trying to help her or actually have her killed? We don't see anything good coming from anything he says.

Who are those people that Melinda and Aiden saw? We hope that they are somehow connected back to the shadows, but it looks like we may have another being to deal with! And how creepy was Aiden last night? He has the ability to see things that Melinda can't - and we think this puts a huge target on his back.

This show can really spook us sometimes and one thing is for sure - a dead clown is very creepy! Thankfully, he didn't stay dressed up the entire episode.

The main storyline this week was really interesting. We had a woman who just won the lotto and as much as anyone would think this would be an amazing blessing, it turned into a curse. She couldn't trust anyone anymore and wasn't sure what motives were behind anything.

What would you do in her circumstances? Stay with your high school sweetheart and be unsure of his reasons for wanting marriage or run away like she did?

This proves a good point with the whole debate that money is the root of all evil. People change when they get rich and it was really nice to see that Sherri's character just wanted to donate it all to charities.

Off topic - how great was Todd? He has us when he wanted to name his first born Tebow! The was just amazing. And who doesn't love a happy ending?

The Ghost Whisperer Review: "On Thin Ice"

The Ghost Whisperer brought in an edgy way of portraying one of Melinda's visions. The vision had Melinda actually step into a graphic comic book - and we must say, it was pretty cool!

We never see things on TV that have that type of graphics and we were kinda blown away by how much we enjoyed the creepy illustrated vision.

"On Thin Ice" told the story of loneliness and how it can really effect us all. It can bring anyone that is depressed into an even worse place. The tricky part of loneliness is the ability to turn being alone into a positive thing. Being alone can be very independent and freeing.

Shane died feeling trying to do something nice for his stepbrother, Collin. What Collin didn't realize was that he wasn't alone either. He always thought no one got him and Shane really did. Shane thought that if Collin would get published he would become successful enough to never feel lonely.

Unfortunately, things didn't pan out the way anyone would have expected. On part that had us a bit confused was Damon's ability to not get in trouble for his plagiarism. Seriously! The guy rips off Collin and literally publishes the work under his name and when he confessed no one did anything! We found that to be a little ridiculous.

We really liked how the writers even tied in little Aiden at the end. How cute was his drawing of himself and his make believe little brother. It really shows that Aiden feels alone in the world and craves having someone just like him to share it with. We hope that the look Melinda had in her eye meant that she herself was considering the idea of baby number two. Our hearts really go out to the little guy! Hopefully Jim feels the same way!

Could anyone else feel the tension between real life Jamie Kennedy and Jennifer Love? We wonder if this has something to do with their recent break-up..Hmm.

We knew that the writers had to take a hiatus on the Shinings considering the last episode was chocked full of surprises, but really, nothing?! Not even a mention of the Book of Changes or Bedford?! We expected a little something something!

All-in-all we found this week's episode to be a little more depressing then necessary. What did you think of the storyline? Leave your comments below and don't forget to rate it!

Season Finale Pregnancy Shocker Ahead ... But Who?!

A character on a popular one-hour drama is going to be pregnant on the season finale of her show. That's according to Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello. But who is it?

Apparently it’s a series that gets a lot of PR on sites like EW and this one, and "its rabid following is one of the scariest, most enthusiastic around." Hmm ... Gossip Girl maybe?

Oh, and the character who is expecting is perhaps the last one you’d expect.

Any theories? We've thrown out a few below ... submit yours and we'll add it!

Blair Waldorf or Serena van der Woodsen, Gossip Girl: Either Upper East Sider would work as both are in sizzling relationships, and GG is due for a bombshell.
Jenny Humphrey, Gossip Girl: Because it's Gossip Girl, you have to expect the unexpected and the "OMFG" at the same time. High school junior J would do it!
Ella Sims, Melrose Place. We can see a "who's the father" angle there. We would also like to see more love scenes involving Katie Cassidy. Was that out loud?
Elena Gilbert, Vampire Diaries. Which Salvatore is the dad? The plot thickens!
Nora Walker, Brothers & Sisters. Life begins at 65? Would certainly be a TV first.
Alicia Florrick, The Good Wife. Given her marriage, that would be unpredictable.
Addison Montgomery, Private Practice. They already did it with Violet, but hey.
