Jack and Dan deal with a criminal the latter busted many years ago this week. He's played by Dan Castellaneta.

It was fun to watch Dan interact with this bungling thief, who respected the man who originally put him away. In the end, this relationship helped Dan and Jack track down some major criminals and prevent a big-time robbery.

The other major development involved Liz and Jack. He kissed her in her office, only to be told that Kyle asked her to move in with him. She said she had to think about it. Jack was taken aback, but ended the episode by saying he didn't think she'd do it. How come? It was just a hunch he had, as Dan spent most of the hour explaining to him how a good cop follows his gut sometimes.
