Alicia was forced to confront her views on the death penalty this week, as the firm represented a client who actually needs a death row inmate to help it identity a killer.

He did end up assisting with the case, but seriously disturbed Alicia after asking to see his mother and brother one final time, merely to taunt them before he execution. That's cold.

Elsewhere:

- Eli helped to diffuse a political scandal, but then found out he did so for a candidate who will be running for State Senate against his ex-wife.

- Zach bonded a bit with Eli's daughter, Marissa.

- Dana tried to make a deal with Kalinda, helping to provide her with evidence in exchange for information about Will and a judge from his past. Kalinda later alerted Will about the State's Attorney really going after him and said she'd help.

- She also kissed Cary, after the two of them got into a discussion about whether or not Kalinda was trying to get to Cary through her close with with Dana. But after a brief lip lock, Cary walked away, leaving Kalinda alone and confused.
