While suffering from laryngitis, Alicia struggles to prepare for an important interview with the Editorial Board of a prominent newspaper which may bump her numbers above Prady's in the polls. She watches Prady’s interview, already posted online and imagines her own responses to the questions, including how she’ll manage the problems big and small in the State's Attorney's office, whether Lemond Bishop has donated to her campaign or her pact and how she feels about Zach’s girlfriend’s abortion.

Later Alicia fantasizes about being in bed with different men in her life including Jonathan Elfman, Finn Polmar and Will Garner. In her fantasies she tells Will how much she misses him.

When Louis Canning pushes for a settlement in his wrongful eviction case against her firm, Alicia realizes that he has David Lee on his side. When she decides that a settlement may actually be the way to go she is surprised to find that Canning is in the hospital. Canning's wife tells Alicia that they don't expect him to make it through the night and asks Alicia to pray for him.
