It's election day and Peter gives an interview saying that he’s sure Alicia is going to win which her advisors fear will keep voters away and cause Alicia to lose the election. Alicia thinks Peter did it on purpose because he’s angry she called him a racist during her campaign. Later, Peter attempts to make things right. Elsewhere Johnny Elfman decides to leave town when he sees Alicia and Peter together and Finn tells Alicia that he's currently seeing someone.
Lemond Bishop tells Kalinda that's he's decided to retire from his drug business and go legit but will need both her and Alicia's help to get it done.
While on an upscale hunting trip at a luxury resort in Wyoming with her husband, Diane gets into a debate with one of Kurt’s good friends, R.G. who is a staunch Republican and supporter of the pro-life cause. They carry on a civil but heated debate on the issues for over two hours while in a hunting blind. R.G. even gets Diane to shoot a deer. To her surprise and possible dismay, she enjoys it.
