    Overall though, it was a relatively well done episode and I thought it was interesting how Lisbon told him off the bat move on from Red John and don't spend time looking into him and that Jane was in an insane asylum prior to this. 2 questions though a) we should have gotten more and seen more into why Jane was hired b) what were they trying to get across with this? That Jane was always the way he is now and that Red John has always consumed him? There was no general theme or take away message or purpose of this episode other than just showing a different perspective. I would have to liked to have seen something more concrete and powerful

    This was one of the better episodes although it's hard what to make of it. I thought the whole scene where Jane tricked the killer into revealing himself was well done. They also did a really nice job portraying the overall awkwardness of Jane coming at first and how it lingered. The whole episode just seemed kind of weird, alot of it was by design, but there was just something weird about this one. Things didn't really connect that much, the scenes at the beginning were really awkward and they didn't really ever develop(the relationship between lisbon, cho and rigbsy with jane could have been developed alot better throughout the course of episode)
