As Michael prepares to leave for Colorado, he welcomes in his replacement Deangelo Vickers. The two of them hit it off right away, but Michael then becomes jealous of Deangelo. Realizing that he has in fact chosen to leave Dunder Mifflin, Michael comes to terms with the new situation.
The rest of the office employees are trying to get in Deangelo's good graces. It worked for some, but didn't for others. Deangelo thinks Andy is funny, Kelly is cute, but can't stand Jim, Pam, and their chit chat about their baby.
Dwight doesn't understand why he is replacing Michael, until he finds out that Michael never recommended Dwight to corporate. To which point, he starts to be Deangelo's right hand man.
