Episode Guide
After Michael's relationship with new V.P. Charles Minor deteriorates to the point of no return, he decides to go out on his own - as in start his own paper company.
Pam decides to be the Dorothy to Michael's Jerry Maguire. Pam has never really been happy as a receptionist, and after spending hours and hours getting a new copier to work - and being at a loss for words as to how it feels to have mastered it - even a start-up with Michael sounds good.
That's right, he's going out on his own. Wow.
On the other hand, though, Pam is practical person, and she has to know that a startup with no business plan and no money, with Michael at the helm, is even more doomed than most new businesses.
With Pam the sole employee of the Michael Scott Paper Co., does the new company have a lot of potential? No, but the story line does.
Meanwhile, the rest of the gang wonders about Charles Minor. He's almost a completely humorless man, and it seems like the employees have gone from being flustered or intrigued by him to beat down or even scared.
