Elijah arrives in New Orleans just as the witches discover the body of Jane Anne Devereaux and learns that Marcel has forbidden witches from practicing magic in the French quarter. He looks for Klaus and instead finds Sophie Devereaux who reveals Hayley, pregnant with Klaus' child. 

Desperate to bring his family together, Elijah makes a deal with the witches. He will convince Klaus to help them defeat Marcel in exchange for Hayley's safety. Klaus finally agrees to help the witches but decides he must work alone instead of with his family.
