Global warming causes a snow shortage this Christmas, but the steam from the nuclear plant (combined with the tire fire pollution) combine to make Springfield the only city with snow. Tourists invade Springfield, and the residents respond by raising the prices on everything. Unable to afford Christmas this year, Marge begins taking lodgers at the Simpson home, but she soon tires of their incessant demands. Meanwhile, Lisa tries to find the best presents for family members.
