Moe's depression gets the better of him, and he attempts suicide. Homer, Carl, and Lenny save him, and when Marge finds out, the group takes Moe to Capital City to raise his spirits. Everyone chips in to buy him a new suit, which succeeds in cheering him up. Moe cleans up the bar, and this attracts a couple of venture capitalists who decide to invest in Moe's whiskey. When his company is about to go public, his new suit is ruined and his rough looks make buyers unwilling to invest in his company. Meanwhile, Grampa injures himself on Bart's makeshift waterslide, and Bart spends time taking care of him.
