Zack strikes a deal with her, if she waits in the basement he'll return with her ciggy's. Naturally, this puts the youngest Goodweather in harm's way at yet another convenience store standoff. Luckily Gus shows up and protects Zack by taking out the strigoi threat. Speaking of Gus, the poor guy returns home only to discover his mother and brother have been infected. He releases Crispin, but doesn't have the heart to take out his mamí. A decision that will no doubt come back to haunt him. Elsewhere, after following the strigoi's ammonia trails to a narrow passageway in the wall, Eph is mislead by Kelly's familiar voice. Setrakian warns him it's a trick, but Eph rushes off and bumps into the Master's coffin. The big guy himself makes an impressive entrance, but rather than kill Eph he threatens to take his loved ones as he did to Setrakian. Fet throws his UVC bomb into the center of the room and the Master scurries off like a rat. Insisting they might not get another chance at destroying the creature, Setrakian leads our heroes to another hole in the wall. This time, the team peeks in to find thousands of strigoi quietly nesting.
