With the arrival of the full moon, Elena (Nina Dobrev) tries to prepare for whatever Klaus (guest star Joseph Morgan) has planned and Tyler (Michael Trevino) faces his second transformation. The terrifying events quickly spin out of control, despite an unexpected act of courage. Finally, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) admits the truth to Stefan (Paul Wesley) about a terrible new development they must face.

It`s very difficult not choosing Damon as my favourite character. And I must admit that I failed every week with not falling in love with his wonderful manifold dark character and his good inten-sions to win Elenas love. And also the outstanding acting of Ian Sommerhalder.
I`m just like all the other girls.. If I must choose between the perfect boyfriend or a man who`s in the need to be saved from his dark side. I will always choose the complicated way..
But also I love them all in their special way.
First I thought Elena is some kind of boring, and the story was so similar to twilight. But now the similarity is done. Elena will stay human. I love her for this. Being immortal, caught in youthful-ness, this is the stuff everybody wants. But not her.. She wants to grow old, have kids..
also if this means not staying with Stefan forever..
that is wonderful point of her character.

I LOVED THIS EPISODE SO MUCH, I THINK IT WAS AWESOME...IM PRETTY SURE STEFAN WILL FIND DAMON A CURE...AND HE HAD AN AWESOME ARGUMENT HE SAID THAT ¿IF THEY WERE ABLE TO PREVENT ELENA FROM BECOMING A VAMPIRE AFTER SHE DIES WITH VAMPIRE BLOOD ON HER SYSTEM ,WHY THEY WONT FIND A CURE FOR DAMONS BITE? I ASLO LOVE ELENA AND STEFAN AS A COUPLE...THIS EPISODE MORE THAN EVER...THE FACT THAT HE WAS WILLIN TO SACRIFICE HIS LIFE TO SAVES JENNA...JUST TO MAKE SURE ELENA WONT SUFFER ANYMORE...HE DIDNT WANT HER TO LOOSE ANYONE ELSE OF HER FAMILY , THAT IS JUST TRUE LOVE...I HOPE THEY END UP TOGUETHER AT THE END OF THE SERIES...

Idiots! Of course Damon is not going to die! The producers are not stupid!!! They know that the audience loves Damon! In the season finale a cure for Damon will certainly be found! Noone would let him die!

I almost forgot, Bonnie's character which has been uppity, preachy, judgmental and boring, should go. A person can only take so much of that. John Gilbert-yuck! I am really sorry that Stefan's best friend got killed off, and that Rose and Stefan didn't become an item. They were well suited to each other.
