- Katherine started growing really old, her hair turning grey and her tooth falling out. She went to Dr. Maxfield and asked why.

- Dr. Maxfield, while being compelled, told Caroline of a secret society known as The Augustine and also of The Augustine Vampire.

- Silas discovered that Amara is the anchor, but their reunion didn't go as planned because Amara took his blood for The Cure because she wants to die. As a result, Damon and company must now protect a human Amara if they want to bring down The Other Side and bring Bonnie back.

- Tessa gave Stefan his memories back.
