PART I: Michael explains to Victor (Eric Braeden) that a judge is stepping in now and will eventually make a decision about Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and her baby. A threatened hospital administrator later, Victor calls his assistant to arrange a call with a judge. But when the judge calls, Michael takes the call and apologizes as the judge resents the idea that Victor could browbeat him into doing anything unethical.
PART II: Brad (Don Diamont) advises Nikki and David that he is taking steps to be declared a guardian of Victoria's unborn baby. After serving Victor with a subpoena, the process server is unable to find Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victor fears she might have skipped town. He claims that this is proof that she should have no part in the decision about their daughter. They eventually find her and Michael lectures her. Brad interrupts and claims that he may be the best person to make the decision.
PART III: Phyllis stops J.T. (Thad Luckinbill) and Nick as they argue over Victoria. Unaware of Gloria's emailing campaign to get him out of office, Jack (Peter Bergman) complains to Sharon about the media now demanding his resignation. He gets copies of Gloria's emails and then suggests to Sharon that Victor might have been responsible for Ji Min's death. Jack learns the Ethics Committee has rescheduled the hearing.
