When Sookie is helping Eric find the thief in his bar, she discovers it's a Vampire who comes after her.  When Bill kills the Vampire to defend Sookie, he must pay a price for his crime against his kind.  Jason and Amy, meanwhile, follow Lafayette to figure out he gets his Vampire blood from a quiet, harmless Eddie.  They end up kidnapping him in order to harvest his blood.  Tara goes to Miss Jeanette to find out about getting her own excorcism, but can't afford the $800 until Sam gives it to her.  Sookie comes home to find her cat dead and hanging from her fan.  Bill, having to leave to go on trial with the Vampires, asks Sam to watch over Sookie in his absence.  Sam does so in dog form and Sookie find out the dog was Sam in the end.
