Last night's True Blood resumed just as the Fellowship of the Sun's suicide bomber arrived at Godric's lair.  In addition to taking his own life, the Lukinator was able to kill several vampires while injuring many others.

True Blood Sets New Record for Ratings

True Blood spoilers warnings: this show is a gargantuan hit!

Sunday’s episode of the HBO drama attracted 4.4 million viewers, a new series high. The mark edges out the former record of 4.3 million viewers, which, of course, was earned the previous week.

With a third season already guaranteed, and its star gracing the covers of national magazines, True Blood is more than a popular show. It's officially a phenomenon.

Lindsey Haun: Cast on True Blood

Lindsey Haun has been cast on True Blood.

The musician will come aboard the HBO series as Sookie's cousin, Hadley Hale.

Not much is known about the character, but we can verify that she'll be in scenes with Stephan Moyer, Alexander Skarsgard, and Evan Rachel Wood.

True Blood Spoilers: Aftermath of the Suicide Bomber

Now that you've had a few days to watch last week's aptly-named episode of True Blood, "Timebomb," it's safe to reveal the episode ended with a cliffhanger that involved a suicide bomber.

Luke, everyone's favorite crazy Fellowship of the Sun fanatic, showed up to Godric's lair at the end of the episode with silver and a bomb strapped to his chest.  So just how will our favorite vampires and Stackhouse siblings fare next episode?

According to the latest spoiler column at E! Online, Godric, Sookie, Bill and Jason will make it out just fine.  Eric, however, will get wounded by the bomb.

First Look: Evan Rachel Wood on True Blood

As if True Blood couldn't get any hotter.

On August 30, Evan Rachel Wood joins the HBO hit as Sophie-Anne, the Vampire Queen of Louisiana. She'll make her initial appearance when a desperate Bill seeks out her character for advice.

“Nobody’s ever entirely happy to see her," series creator Alan Ball said of Sophie-Anne. “She’s very powerful, capricious and most likely insane.”

Ball added: “[She] has more than one secret agenda, which we will slowly become aware of over season 3.”

Sookie and Eric: Growing Closer on True Blood

Call us crazy but in the True Blood season two trailer from Comic Con, doesn't it look like there's a scene with Eric and Sookie in bed together?  So just how close will this pairing get this season?

According to E! Online's latest spoiler column, Sookie and Eric will grow closer over the next few episoes after the sheriff is injured and needs her help.

After Sunday's episode of True Blood, "Release Me," the multiple running plot lines began to converge and finally make sense.

From here on out it looks like True Blood is going to be a non-stop rollercoaster ride until the war between the Fellowship of the Sun and Godric's vampires comes to an end.
