Charlie and Alan go to the movies where they run into Chelsea on a date with Brad.  Feeling awkward, the guys head out, but rather than going home, they head to the bar and eventually back to Chelsea's place to spy on when she comes home.  Charlie sees Chelsea come home, say goodbye to Brad, and take off somewhere else in her car.  Charlie has Alan follow Chelsea to her new destination, but they end up running out of gas.  They hoof it home and discover Chelsea showed up there.

Chelsea spends the night with Charlie, but still isn't ready to get back together.  The next day, Charlie heads over with flowers to Chelsea's, but her dad and his lover convince Charlie to play it cool if he's gonna win her back.
