When Evelyn comes over to visit Jake one more, she inadvertantly meets Charlie's fiancee, Chelsea. We find out Charlie has been lying to Chelsea, saying she lives out of the country, and hiding Chelsea from meeting his mom. Evelyn decides she doesn't want to be a part of Charlie's childish games he plays with his mom and makes a lunch date with Evelyn so they can get to know each other better.
Charlie goes to visit his mom at her office for the first time ever to find out her agenda. It turns out she just doesn't want to the same mistake she made with Alan's first wife Jude... err Judith. She feels if Juidth didn't keep her at arm's length, she should have been a better influence on Jake and he would have grown up to have better manners. We find out the lunch date actually went well.
