At a staff meeting, Wilhelmina reads her latest letter to the editor.  When Betty says Daniel should write the letter, Wilhelmina says that Daniel deserves a break. 

At the hopsital, Alexis has amnesia and has forgotten about the last two years, including becoming a woman!  She has no knowledge that Bradford rejected her becoming a woman, her mom is a wanted criminal, or that Bradford is marrying Wilhelmina!  Though Daniel is angry at Bradford for not telling Alexis the truth, he's happy to have a second chance to be able to bond with her.  Daniel enjoys his second chance as he lies and tells Alexis they got into an accident swerving to avoid a deer.

Betty runs into Henry who's back in New York City and needs to work for Mode again in order to get healthcare to cover Charlie's birth if that's okay with Betty.

Wilhelmina has a new bodyguard after her attack by Claire the previous week.  Wilhelmina has Marc give the bodyguard a house key and Betty sees where Marc puts it.  Betty, trying to get the book for Daniel, steals a key and heads off to Wilhelmina's with Christina.  They find the book but soon Wilhelmina and her body guard enter!  They hide under the bed and are forced to listen in while the two do it.  They sneak off when the two go into the shower, but not without Betty leaving an earring behind!  Wilhelmina summons Betty to the rooftop at Mode and tries to buy Betty's silence by having her father, the sentator, get Ignacio his citizenship.

Back in Mexico, Ignacio tells Betty that he is sick of waiting and is  going to cross the border illegally.  Betty tells her father to hold off and she tells Wilhelmina she's in.   Ignacio, before he can leave, gets a gun pointed to his head by a man at the door who points a gun at him.  Guess it's revenge.

Wilhelmina tells Bradford she got off the phone with Cavalli who's going to fly in for a fitting on Bradford's tux and he tells Wilhelmina he wants to delay the wedding.  He wants the time to bond with Alexis.

The episode ends with an inebriated Henry coming to visit Betty at home.  Christina told him about Charlie cheating.

Amanda
While Amanda is awaiting her DNA results, she gets a visit from the lawyer and finds out all of Fey's estate has been donated to charity.  The only thing Amanda gets is her old dog, Halston, and a $1,000 / week allowance to take care of him.  When Amanda gets sick of taking care of the dying dog, she takes him to a pound.  When she realizes how terrible the conditions are, she keeps Halston as it's the closest thing she has to her mother.

Hilda and Justin
Hilda is busy going through all of Santos' stuff which she picked up at his apartment.  She sends Justin off to his internship at Mode with a bagged lunch which he rejects.  At his internship, Justin does an awesome job collecting things for Marc for Shakira's photoshoot.  Justin just needs some rice cakes which he finds at the same store which his father got killed.  The clerk recognizes him from the funeral and tells him his father was a hero and he's just like him.  When Justin comes home, based on advice from her father, Hilda tells him he should keep one thing from his father and he chooses a basketball.  Maybe he will be a little Santos.  Hilda keeps a silly bowling pin lamp.
