Recap

Tonight’s episode opened with Myka and Pete walking into the Warehouse in winter and find that Claudia and her brother Joshua having decorated for Christmas using some of the artifacts from the warehouse. As Artie came in he told them to take it all down.

Meanwhile, Larry Newly was distracted while talking to his daughter via video conference on his computer. After they disconnected he catches someone breaking stuff in his house and the person turns into a twinkle and wooshes up the chimney.

Artie sends Pete and Myka to investigate who attacked Larry Newly as it appeared someone was using an artifact. While interviewing Larry, he is attacked again by what appeared to be himself dressed as Santa Claus and after he leaves Pete and Myka check with Artie to see if there really was a Santa Claus and could this be him. Artie confirmed there wasn’t.

As Pete and Myka continue to try and help Larry, Claudia tracked down the piano that Artie played on as a kid and found it was still owned by Artie’s father. Claudia convinces Artie’s father to see Artie even though they have not seen each other in 30 years.

Myka and Pete figured out that one of the Christmas ornaments that Larry had given his daughter was the artifact and it the wish his daughter made when hanging it up was of liking the way Larry was when he use to play Santa for the local kids. With his daughter’s help Larry is able to break the hold the artifact has on him.

Artie and His father were slow to talk to each other and when they found out that Claudia had lied to both of them to get them to speak to each other; they found common ground in being annoyed with her and began to mend fences. The whole gang including Joshua and Artie’s father enjoyed a big Christmas dinner.
