- Pete and Myka investigate a case where people are seeing tentacled monsters. Pete realizes it's similar to Lovecraft, and they find the culprit.
- Claudia is working to revive Steve and finds some unexpected help from Jane. They link the metronome to Steve and bring him back from the dead.
- Jane is reprimanded by the Regents over not getting approval to revive Steve. They decide to keep a close eye on him, and agree to take him out if things get out of hand.
- The episode ends with Artie's pinging device locating the knife that Claudia used in him dream to stab him.
