Recap

This week's Monday Night Raw did not end well for Shane McMahon. We'll get to that in a few minutes, though...

WWE Champion Randy Orton vs. Shane McMahon ended in a no-contest, as the night got started with a bang!
The match saw interference from both Orton’s Legacy (Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase) and Batista and MVP, interjecting on behalf of Shane O’Mac. Because the match ends up being a mess, WWE Raw General Manager Vickie Guerrero set a new main event. Later in the episode, Batista would square off against DiBiase, with MVP going up against Rhodes. The winners would join either Shane or Orton in the main event.

- Kofi Kingston defeats Matt Hardy: Hardy attacked Kingston with his cast, but Kingston eventually got the win. Following the contest, as Kofi celebrated, Hardy used his injury to his advantage by clobbering Kofi with his cast.

- Vickie Guerrero announced John Cena vs. Big Show for Judgment Day.

- Festus defeats Jillian in a singing contest. Not worth detailing at all. The Miz attacks Festus afterwards.

- Mickie James defeats Maryse in a non-title match: James wins with a DDT.

- Cody Rhodes defeats MVP: MVP and Rhodes battle to the outside and Regal interferes, taking out MVP's leg. Rhodes sits in the ring as the referee counts MVP out. Rhodes is on to the main event.

- Ted DiBiase defeats  Batista by DQ, earning a spot in Raw’s main event. When DiBiase slapped Batista and attempted to kick him in the groin, The Animal went after DiBiase... a bit too much. He gets himself disqualified.

- Carlito defeats The Brian Kendrick: Quick match, with a few high spots. Match ends with Carlito hitting the back-stabber on The Brian Kendrick for the 1-2-3.

- Shane McMahon defeats The Legacy in a 3-on-1 Handicap Match by DQ... after they break his ankle.

As decreed by Guerrero, if Batista or United States Champion MVP interfere, Batista would lose his Judgment Day title shot against Orton, while MVP would be stripped of his U.S. Title.

Legacy put a definitive end to the match when they attacked McMahon's leg using a steel chair and the ring steps. Ouch! Afterward, Batista ran out, but the damages was very much done: the night ended with Shane being looked at by EMTs.
