Just 24 hours after Wrestlemania 25, the following events and matches took place on Monday Night Raw...
- Mr. McMahon announced a Six-Man Tag Team Match for Backlash, and pitted himself against Randy Orton for the show's main event.
- Carlito and Primo defeated The Miz and John Morrison in a Lumberjack Match.
- Melina, Kelly Kelly, Mickie James, Layla and Jillian defeated Maryse, Maria, Eve, Gail Kim, and Natalya
- John Cena Rey Mysterio, Jeff Hardy, CM Punk, and Ricky Steamboat defeated Edge, Big Show, Chris Jericho, Matt Hardy and Kane.
- Vickie Guerrero announced that she is now the permanent General Manager of Raw. She booked John Cena against Edge in a Last Man Standing Match at Backlash.
- Santina Marella defeated Beth Phoenix.
- Randy Orton started to beat down Mr. McMahon... but was interrupted by WWE Champion Triple H, Shane McMahon and the returning Batista. The latter will take Vince’s place in the tag match at Backlash.
