To open this week's WWE Raw, Batista is in the ring. He doesn't have long to celebrate his defeat of Randy Orton from the night before, however, as Orton and Legacy soon attack The Animal in the ring. They appear to break his arm, as Batista is taken off in an ambulance and says he cannot feel his arm. Orton takes his title belt.
(He is injured in real life and will be on the shelf for a bit.)
After that hot opening, here's a match rundown:
- Kofi Kingston defeats William Regal.
- Maryse defeats Kelly Kelly.
- Santino Marella, Goldust and Festus defeat Chavo Guerrero, The Brian Kendrick and Jamie Noble.
- John Cena vs. The Miz ends in a no contest.
- MVP defeats Matt Hardy.
- WWE Raw General Manager Vickie Guerrero quits, as Edge reiterates the he would be divorcing her. Anyone else sick of these two? Edge deserves better.
- Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase defeat Carlito and Primo in a non-title match.
- Orton then comes to the ring for a supposed match with Batista. But who shows up instead? Triple H! He hits Orton with a chair over and over, ending the evening with a Pedigree on top of it. The Game is back!
