23 TV Bad Boys We Can't Help But Love

at .  Updated at .

These 23 bad boys are actually very, very good. Come on, you can't help but love these guys, right, ladies?

1. Chuck Bass (Gossip Girl)

"I'm Chuck Bass"- are the only 3 words he has to say to make a point. The Upper East Side of Manhattan breeds their bad boys differently. Chuck's brand of badness is more of pure debauchery, scheming, throwing his money around, sleeping his way through different countries, throwing parties like "The Lost Weekend," and making a name for himself in the hospitality industry. But push comes to shove, he will make things right and he will do anything for Blair Waldorf, even take a bullet to protect her future engagment ring.

2. Tim Riggins (Friday Night Lights)

Dillon's resident heartbreaker. He was a player among the rally girls, dominated on the field as #33, but his heart was loyal to Lyla Garrity once she was finally his girlfriend. Troublemaker with a heart of gold, who took the rap and went to jail for his brother so his brother could be with his wife and kid. Swoon.

3. Jax Teller (Sons of Anarchy)

Jax spent 7 seasons as a motorcycle riding, gang member from North Cali. His blood brought him into the Sons of Anarchy MC, and his loyalty ultimately kept him there for better and worse. He found love in Dr. Tara Knowles only to lose her to his psycho mother. His last season on a quest for revenge has been painful for fans, but he will always been the golden hair ruler of SAMCRO.

4. Damon Salvatore (The Vampire Diaries)

Despite both having less than stellar reputations at times, Damon is ultimately the badder brother in the Salvatore duo. He breaks necks without a second thought, compels his best friends when he needs something, could clean the state of Virginia out of bourbon, and has left a high body count in his week. However, he will sacrifice his life for the people he loves most, his brother Stefan and on/off girlfriend Elena.

5. Jess Mariano (Gilmore Girls)

Stars Hollow's token bad boy. He did everything from steal baseballs to gnomes and created a fake crime scene at Dooses. Of course, he was also the most well-read bad boy you'd ever meet. But even under the bad boy image all he wanted was Rory's attention, which he eventually got. Heck, he was the one who took the first step to get Rory back to Yale.- Mary Kate Venedam

6. Dean Winchester (Supernatural)

One half of a hot brother demon-busting duo, Dean Winchester has the bad boy schtick down. He's a beer swilling, karaoke singing, chisel-faced guy with a deep love of family. He'd do anything for family, but loves porn, too, and doesn't shy away from the ladies. He just can't keep one around because he's always on the run. And, well, he's still probably infused with bits of demon and bears the Mark of Cain. Whoops!- Carissa Pavlica

7. James "Sawyer" Ford (Lost)

With two hot leading men on least, each had their attributes. It was Sawyer's physique and witty remarks that tilted the scale for those who like a little danger in their men. The long hair didn't hurt, nor did his penchant for nicknames and getting into enough trouble to keep things interesting. As luck would have it, he was only looking for his true love the whole time, which he found in Juliet. - Carissa Pavlica

8. Klaus Mikaelson (The Originals)

Klaus started off as a villanous guest star on The Vampire Diaries but was such a dynamo that he got his own spin-off. He is beyond paranoid, has serious anger, and the worst daddy issues I've ever seen in a dude. He taken to daggering and preserving his family members in coffins at times he deems fit. However, his new baby girl Hope has changed the game and shown us a softer side of this Original Vampire.

9. Eric Northman (True Blood)

Eric Northman is the epitome of television bad boys. He's sexy, mysterious, charming, and he kills people on a regular basis. He may possess the power to glamour women, but this smoldering Viking Vampire doesn't need it.- Stacey Glanzman

10. Wade Kinsella (Hart of Dixie)

Zoe Hart had no idea what she was in for when she moved in next door to town player Wade Kinsella. He is extremely popular with the ladies, has already been divorced once, is notorious for pranks, and ended up seducing Zoe. Over the last few seasons he has gone from bartender to bar-owner and resident player to real deal boyfriend. His character growth only makes him hotter. Also, he should always be shirtless.

11. Hank Moody (Californication)

Successful but egotistical writer hits it big and moves from New York to LA when his book gets the Hollywood treatment. Hank is a total boozehound, who is caught with his pants down more than up. He has a total sex addiction and overall addiciton to making bad decisions. His love for ex-wife and daughter are one steadfast we see in Moody, played brilliantly by David Duchovny.

12. Jaime Lannister (Game of Thrones)

There is a theme with bad boys. They like to fight, have soft, emotional sides and a great love of family- in the case of Jaime Lannister, perhaps too much love. After spending some time on the road with Brienne of Tarth, his incestual tendencies started to fall away. Losing his hand and identity forced him to grow beyond his skills into a strong man. The more he steps up to a challenge, the more irresistable he becomes. - Carissa Pavlica

13. John Ross Ewing III (Dallas)

John Ross began the series striving to be just as bad as his daddy, but he was never quite the masterful genius JR was. With the love of a good woman, it looked like maybe JR was going to escape the shadow of his dearly departed father and forge his own path. But in the end he was blinded by the greed and power of Dallas, losing his love and making one bad decision after another. It's unfortunate we won't get to see this bad boy's marvelous hair and wicked grin light up Southfork anymore. - Whitney Evans

14. Ray Donovan (Ray Donovan)

A sharply dressed L.A. fixer from Boston, Ray's profession, attitude and attired make him irresistible to women. Whether he meets them through his work, because of his equally bad daddy's misdeeds, or he's married to her, women fall first for the facade and then the soft interior he hides from the public. It's like he's covered in honey, despite his constant brushes with the law and jealous streak. - Carissa Pavlica

15. Don Draper (Mad Men)

Sure he's all man, but he has all the trappings of a traditional bad boy. In additiont to his wardrobe and successful career, he has an emotional delicacy that keeps his less-than spectacular treatment of women from driving them away, but instead draws them to him like bees to a flower. They all want a chance to save Don, but only few get an opportunity to try. - Carissa Pavlica

16. Spike (Buffy the Vampire Slayer)

Complete with a black trenchcoat and a British accent, Spike from "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" is the definition of a bad boy who is impossible not to love. Even when he does things that are downright evil, he manages to bring on the charm and wit. He's sexy, has an attitude, and oh- is a vampire who doesn't sparkle. - Ashley Bissette Sumerel

17. Logan Echolls (Veronica Mars)

Logan Echolls was a rich jerk with a giant heart for those closest to him, like Veronica Mars. Quick with the words AND the fist, he sometimes seemed to get himself into trouble just so Veronica would have to bail him out. Maybe, like all bad boys seem to be, he just needed someone to save him. - Miranda Wicker

18. Dylan McKay (Beverly Hills, 90210)

Dylan McKay was the OG of bad boys. He started it all in the richest zip code in America, wooing best friends Brenda and Kelly. He as often portrayed as a loner, had a drinking problem, and major family issues. Most of all though, Dylan had a bad-ass porsche and there was nothing he loved more than surfing.

19. Ryan Atwood (The OC)

Ryan was taken in by Sandy Cohen and his family when he was in juvie. The boy from Chino didn't exactly fit in in ritzy Newport, but became fast friends with Seth by developing a brotherly relationship. He also caught the eye of hot girl and hot mess, Marissa Cooper. Ryan was quick to throw a punch, but nobody rocked a beater and hemp necklace better.

20. Jordan Catalano (My So-Called Life)

In a show rich with good guys, Jordan Catalano stood out as the brooding, misunderstood bad boy who stole Angela's heart (and ours). He had many of the classic bad boy traits, including great hair, a sweet jacket and a beloved car. He comitted the ultimate betrayal when he fell into the arms of Rayanne Graff, but we can all agree that he truly did love Angela. And nobody actually wanted her to end up with Brian Krakow, right? - Whitney Evans

21. Pacey Witter (Dawson's Creek)

He slept with a teacher and later stole Joey Potter's virginity AND her heart. - Miranda Wicker

22. Shawn Hunter (Boy Meets World)

He was ladies man, troublemaker, and friend of many. Plus, he had the troubled past and the leather jacket. - Mary Kate Venedam

23. Nathan Scott (One Tree Hill)

Nathan Scott was THE bad boy and unlike most others he was settled down by the love of a good girl, Haley James. While he definitely had his moments during the course of their relationship, he proved himself to be a good man in the end. Naley Forever. - Miranda Wicker
